Although the weather has been a bit warmer in Houston over the past two days, it's still nippy in the evenings. Allergies are still plaguing me and I can't wait to get away from them! It's Winter, for Pete's sake!
Our Attorney told us that our visas were approved after just 4 weeks and now we wait for news that the EC Consulate in Houston has received the same news. We can then get the visas put in our passports and speed up our plans.
Our neighbor, Jean, kindly offered me some more boxes - for which I'm grateful. I'm nearly up to No. 200 already, but .. in mitigation .. many of them are small Ozarka boxes. Packing is getting old, but at least I'm making progress.
We are trying to decide whether to fly direct from Houston to Quito or if we'll go via Miami to Guayaquil and then fly to Quito during our first month to register our visas. I'd probably like to get them done sooner, rather than later and get started on the cedula (national I.D. card) process.
Until next time ...
